Pay It Forward Initiative
We are working to lessen the number of American families experiencing hardship as a result of loss of unemployment/cut in wages, food shortages, loss of utilities or housing. Our "Pay It Forward" Initiative was created to help offset some of the expenses that families are experiencing day to day and relieve the stress of financial burden from the family through donations from our community members and social media followers just like you.
HOW IT WORKS:
This Red Tent will go LIVE on our TikTok and Youtube channels weekly to play trivia games and collect donations from our community members. Business owners offer a product or service from their business in exchange for a variety of perks including exposure for their brands. Community members donate funds on LIVE or on our website to assist families in need. The person who gives the largest donation during our LIVE/through the donation portal wins the product or service that was donated as a Thank You for being a top contributor and you will be notified via email that you have won. There is a 5 business day grace period for winners to claim their prize and respond to the email. The winner for the week will be posted here on Sunday at 8pm EST. Each week names will be pulled randomly from the list of individuals in need of financial assistance and a bill will be paid for each family whose name was selected. So everybody wins!
Every week we help families bring joy back into their homes with the security of knowing their basic needs will be met while helping black-owned businesses gain exposure for their business/brands, and you win FREE gifts, products and services as a thank you for simply "Paying it Forward"!

No, This Red Tent Inc. DOES NOT KEEP ANY OF THE MONEY that is donated from our community. Every penny is paid towards the family in need that is selected from the list each week.
WHAT KIND OF BILLS DOES THE "PAY IT FORWARD" INITIATIVE PAY?
This Red Tent Inc. provides financial relief to families experiencing food shortage through delivery of food to your home within 24 hours, utility bills with shut-off notices, homelessness prevention expenses including temporary housing arrangements with partnerships around the U.S., and rent/mortgage assistance for families experiencing foreclosure and/or eviction.
HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE REALLY USING THE FUNDS TO PAY THIER BILLS?
All families that are selected to join the "Pay it Forward" Initiative are required to provide the proof of the bill that they are submitting to be paid. This Red Tent Inc. then pays the bill directly to the company that is owed on behalf of the family in need, so no funds are provided to the family in need directly. We are serious about protecting both the privacy of the families who are in need and the financial interest of our community members who donate towards the cause! We have a 100% transparency policy.
IS THERE A WAY TO SEE HOW MUCH MONEY WAS COLLECTED WEEKLY AND HOW MANY FAMILIES
THIS RED TENT HAS HELPED?
Yes. There is a charitable gifts log that is updated on a weekly basis which keeps track of all money that has been collected for the "Pay It Forward" Initiative and all funds that have been paid out to the families in need. We have a newsletter that goes out monthly that updates community members on the total money that was collected and the families that have received the donations. The personal information of the family in need and the community members who are donating is kept private, but the dollar amounts are made public.
